Injunctive Relief: ACE 101 Explainer
On August 20, 2021, after reviewing ACE’s request for injunctive relief and CUSD’ s objections to it, the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) granted ACE’s request. On August 25, 2021, representatives from ACE and CUSD met with PERB in an Informal Settlement Conference. Efforts were made to settle the issues raised in the appeal for injunctive relief, but no resolution was reached. The next step is PERB will move forward in seeking an injunction against Clovis Unified in the Fresno County Superior Court. The Superior Court will either grant or deny the request for injunction. If granted, an injunction will be issued by the Superior Court against CUSD.
